Kenny Ng is a writer and cultural worker with wide experience across Los Angeles nonprofits and organizations at the intersection of the arts and social impact. He led a U.S. Department of Education program to increase film, animation, photography, and graphic design curriculum in LAUSD schools to create more pipelines for young people of color in the local creative economy.
Prior to CAPE, he worked for 826LA, ARRAY, Las Fotos Project, 92Y, KCRW, MAMA, and the LA Department of Arts and Culture.
His writing has been published by Roxane Gay, Whetstone, LA Mag, the Hammer Museum, and featured in Best American Essays and Best American Food Writing. Kenny also serves on the board of SEACA, a grassroots community nonprofit working towards equity through advocacy in Chinatown.
