Jane Yubin Kim is a Korean American TV comedy writer and performer based in Los Angeles. She grew up in Los Angeles watching American sitcoms on TV and Korean sitcoms on VHS tapes and dreamed of writing for television. She attended UCSB where she studied film, made shorts with her friends and learned how to write her first scripts from Cheri Steinkellner and Erin Cressida Wilson. After a short career in post production and an even shorter career writing jokes for a K-pop themed web show in NYC, Jane began taking classes at the Upright Citizens' Brigade in LA. Since 2015, she has regularly performed at UCB in shows such as Asian AF, Mess Hall and The Cagematch.
